Crave ’n Crunch began in the quiet glow of a late evening in Newark-on-Trent — the kind where the world feels still, the kettle hums softly, and the scent of warm chocolate fills the air. We didn’t set out to build a bakery that night. We just wanted to make something comforting after a long day. But as the first tray came out of the oven, crackled and glossy, something shifted.

There’s a moment every baker knows: when you break open a cookie and the centre is still warm, soft, and just a little bit magical. That moment reminded me of childhood kitchens, of hands dusted in flour, of laughter that made the windows fog. We realised we weren't just baking — we were recreating a feeling. A feeling we wanted to share.

What started as a simple craving became a calling.

Friends began asking for “those cookies you made that time.” Neighbours knocked on the door with empty tins and hopeful smiles. We found ourselves experimenting late into the night, chasing textures, flavours, and stories — each batch a little closer to the kind of indulgence that makes you pause and breathe in the moment.
